Apply Procedure

वाहनों के फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट बनवाने के लिए आपके पास दो माध्यम उपलब्ध हैं –

1. Online Process

• Step 1: Visit the official website of the Parivahan portal.
• Step 2: Click on “Vehicle Related Services” from the Online Services section.
• Step 3: Select the state of residence from the drop-down list.
• Step 4: On the next page, enter the vehicle registration number and click on the “Proceed” button.
• Step 5: Select “Apply for Fitness Certificate” and read the instructions. Acknowledge the instructions and click on “Proceed”.
• Step 6: Input the vehicle chassis number and the registered mobile number and click on “Generate OTP”.
• Step 7: Now Enter the OTP to view the vehicle details. Verify the same, fill out the vehicle insurance details, and click on the “Payment” button.
• Step 8: Pay the applicable fees via the available digital payment modes.
• Step 9: An application number will be generated. Also, download the online receipt for future reference.
• Step 10: After that, Visit the RTO with your vehicle and relevant documents and complete the vehicle inspection.

2. Offline Process

• Step 1: Obtain all the necessary application forms from the RTO or via the Parivahan portal.
• Step 2: Fill the forms and compile the required documents.
• Step 3: The RTO and submit the application along with the documents.
• Step 4: Pay the applicable fees at the fee collection counter.
• Step 5: Visit the RTO with your vehicle for inspection on the date.

Fees Required for Conducting Test or Grant or Renewal of Fitness Certificate

1. 2 Wheeler – Now ₹1000 and ₹400 Automated (Before ₹200 Manually)
2. 4 Wheeler – Now ₹5000 and ₹600 Automated (Before ₹400 Manually)
3. 3 Wheeler – Now ₹7000 and ₹600 Automated (Before ₹400 Manually)
4. Commercial – Now ₹12500 and ₹1000 Automated (Before ₹600 Manually)

Late Fees

1. 2 Wheeler – ₹300/Month
2. 4 Wheeler – ₹500/Month
3. 3 Wheeler – ₹500/Month
4. Commercial – ₹500/Month
5. Grant or Renewal of Fitness Certificate Fees – ₹200
6. Letter of Authority Grant or Renewal ₹1500
7. An Appeal Under Rule 70 – ₹3000
8. Issue of Duplicate letter of Authority – ₹7500

Obtaining Process or Download of your Fitness Certificate

आप अपना फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट ऑनलाइन डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं उसके लिए निम्नलिखित चरणो का पालन करें।

• Step 1: Log on to Parivahan’s official website.
• Step 2: Then Click on “Online Services” and select “Vehicle Related Services” from the drop-down list.
• Step 3: Select the state of residence, input your vehicle registration number and click “Proceed”.
• Step 4: Select “Download Document” and click on “Print Fitness Certificate”.
• Step 5: Input the vehicle registration number and application number.
• Step 6: Finally Click on “Verify Details” and follow the instructions to print/download the vehicle Fitness Certificate.

Important NOTE

• आने वाले दिनों में नए नियमों के तहत अब वाहनों के फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट के दम पर ही वाहनों का पुनः पंजीकरण किया जाएगा।
• अगर आपका गाड़ी चाहे प्राइवेट हो या फिर कमर्शियलवाहन फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट टेस्ट पास कर लेगी तो ही आपकी गाड़ी का पुनः पंजीकरण किया जाएगा।
• आने वाले दिनों में नए नियमों के तहत गाड़ियों का फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट मैन्युअल की जगह ऑटोमेटेड फिटनेस टेस्ट ट्रैक पर होगा।
• फिटनेस टेस्ट करने के लिए फिटनेस टेस्ट सेंटर में अपनी गाड़ी को लेकर जाना अनिवार्य है।
• फिटनेस टेस्ट में फेल हो जाने पर आवेदक को दो मौके और दिए जाएंगे।
• आने वाले दिनों में नए नियमों के तहत फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट गाड़ियों के लिए काफी अहम हो जाएगा।
• 15 वर्ष पुराने वाहनों के लिए भी फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट ऑनलाइन अप्लाई कर सकते हैं।
• फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट रिनुअल करवाने के लिए भी आप ऑनलाइन आवेदन आरटीओ में दे सकते हैं।
• वाहन का इंजन नंबर और चेचिस नंबर का पेंसिल प्रिंट लगाना अनिवार्य है।

Validity of Vehicle Fitness Certificate

• Private Vehicle – प्राइवेट वाहनों के लिए फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट पहले 15 सालों के लिए मान्य होगा उसके बाद प्रत्येक 5 सालों पर Renewal करना होगा।
• Commercial vehicles – 8 वर्ष तक कमर्शियल वाहनों का फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट 2 वर्ष के लिए मान्य होगा। उसके बाद 8 वर्ष से ज्यादा पुराने कमर्शियल वाहनों को प्रत्येक वर्ष फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट लेना अनिवार्य होगा।
